Scheduling, Etiquette, and First Impressions
 
How the telephone is answered is the first impression of any practice and crucial for proper scheduling.  Understand scheduling to goal, how to implement it, along with how to create that perfect day.  Also, you will be given verbal skills to book patients when you want them to come in.  There will be role-playing exercises from prepared scripts.

Computer Training-Clinical (Back Office)
 
With many practices going paperless in the next couple of years, it is important that the clinical team be proficient with the computer. Choose from one of the three most popular systems on the market today, and learn how to chart existing conditions, needed treatment, periodontal pockets, or write clinical notes. Also learn how to scan documents, audit charts, and separate treatment into phases. This course is recommended for hygienists and assistants who want to enhance their computer skills.
 
Students that hold a valid license, as a Dentist, RDA or RDH will be issued 5 CE units.
